Lisa Musumba is a multimedia storyteller based in Nairobi, Kenya. Influenced by her experiences living in different countries in Africa and Central America in her formative years, she is interested in the ways in which media unifies communities, and how it can be used in the development space. Embracing different mediums—from writing to filmmaking and collage art—she is passionate about representing the multifaceted histories of African cultures to inform the boundless possibilities for Africa's future.

 

She graduated from Clark University in May 2019 with a BA in Media, Culture, and the Arts, and a minor in English.
