RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

 

Objective: Create safe places to hold non-conventional critical conversations aimed at identifying root causes and proposing solutions to address race and gender inequalities.

 

Activities: Held various global dialogues including on strengthening DEI in global spaces. Served on WAGS Summit Advisory Committee, led panel discussion on improving DEI in Africa with global and regional panelists and attendees from both public and private sectors.

Objective: Lead a gender mainstreaming audit including assessment of corporate gender inclusion within the organisation.

 

Activities: In collaboration with Kenya-based regional Gender Unit and executed staff-wide regional virtual survey, qualitative interviews, development of gender mainstreaming toolkit and capacity building.

Objective: Support regional HR efforts to strengthen DEI.

Activities: Supported the design of global UNPAD survey to collect perspectives of experiences of staff of African descent to strengthen DEI.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Objective: Increase the visibility of experiences of women staff members in Kenya, and present recommendations to address persistent gender-related biases. 

Activities: Co-designed with the executive committee including human resources a study on the experiences of women at the agency. Data collection, analysis, and facilitation of participatory workshop, including 88 women in Kenya country office. Initiative to support organizational DEI initiatives.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Objective: Development of Gender Mainstreaming toolkit including corporate gender inclusion minimum standards. 

Activities: Conducted key informant interviews to develop gender mainstreaming focussed on adolescent girls in women globally, M&E indicators and delivered gender and adolescent technical assistance (gender programmatic review/audit) for UNICEF country offices.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Objective: Conduct a study to collect findings of human resources organizational development coaching to new leaders. 

Activities: Conducted key informant interviews with Indonesia Country Director on outcomes from undergoing coaching and mentoring, and produced case study highlighting organizational development findings.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Objective: To build capacity of health workers to identify neurodevelopmental challenges and provide psychosocial support for children and families with neurodevelopmental differences.

Activities: Conducted workshops on neurodevelopment and psychosocial support. Facilitated focus group discussions to raise awareness about the needs of children and families with neurodevelopmental challenges and differences.

Objective: Implement university wide EEO, recruitment & staffing processes aimed at fairness, diversity and inclusion. 

Activities: Devised EEO/AA training materials. Implemented campus wide diversity initiatives. Created and implemented employee interview and recruiting process.
