Happy Africa Day! For 58 years, we have commemorated the establishment of the African Union by celebrating Africa Day on 25 May.
By forging unifying bonds across the continent and the African diaspora, the spirit of Pan-Africanism propels us forward to take charge and envision the future of our continent through our eyes. We launched at the Forefront to ensure that Black women on the continent and beyond are drivers of their own stories. Now, our global collective of Black women with diverse expertise across public health, education, law, and human rights is working to co-create spaces that acknowledge the divides affecting Black women globally and offer up our own solutions informed by our lived experiences.
